Recently we have had an opportunity to provide our furniture for more and more corporate and media events. Over the past 2 months we has seen demand for event furniture hire for various product launches by major high street brands. The key to creating a tailored style is to pick the right colours and lighting. The furniture colours have to be not necessarily matching but complementing the surrounding space. Black and white furniture colours often complement the wides t range of surrounding, but colourful furniture can add something which the space is lacking. Last month our furniture was used in the famous Gherkin building also known officially as 30 St Mary Axe. 80 of our stylish clear perspex Louis Ghost chairs were used on the top floor of the building for a corporate event. The chairs looked spectacular because of their unique ability to absorb light and illuminate the whole space around them. Here the big glass windows above provided plenty of brightness to make the floor appear spacious and "open". Both Lewis Ghost and Victoria Ghost chairs are very popular this season. Recently we have seen the popularity rise further with the use of these chairs at corporate events and product launches, but most often these unique chairs are used for creating spectacular wedding receptions. Here is the example of the latest wedding that we have been supplying Ghost chairs for. In total 170 chairs was used for this event in Aberdeenshire.

Last week our furniture was used for a private event in London Horniman Museum. The glass building in the gardens featured white Fritz Hansen Series 7 chairs. The series 7 chairs are often giving simple and elegant looks to corporate or private events, and look great in a group setting.

This month we have secured a large order of our designer furniture for Atkins, multinational engineering and design consultancy. Pernod Ricard the 2nd largest drinks company after Diageo, approached us for our range of hire furniture for their exhibition stand at this year's London Wine Fair. We have worked with the stand designer Rachel Jones and supplied a selection of furniture which perfectly complemented the intended design. The furniture consisted of black leather swan sofas and swan chairs and black and green conic chairs. Also Swan black tables and Series 7 chairs were used to give a balanced feel to the stand.

Furniture on the stage of this year's IoD (Institute of Directors) Annual Convention was supplied by ExhibitHire. We have worked with Show Presentation Services to provide the most suitable furniture for the stage in the Royal Albert Hall. They have chosen black leather Swan chair and sofa to be used by the key speakers amongst whom was Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

We have had a successful conclusion to the Pulse exhibition in Earls Court on 1-3 June. It was organised by Clarion Events Ltd (Top Drawer) and we have supplied a number of companies with our designer exhibition furniture. We are yet again offering free delivery on our designer hire furniture to the British Association of Picture Libraries and Agencies exhibition. This year it is a Picture Buyers' Fair and seminar held on 7 & 8 May 2008. We have supplied the Diabetes exhibition in Glasgow last week. The company Novo Nordisk used 16 green Gliss stools to improve the looks of their stand.
